The Highlander neighborhood will operate as the headquarters for, locally-owned, Hardy Coffee Co. The space will house a new coffee shop, commercial bakery, and roasting facility. The cafe will be open seven days a week, both early and late, to accommodate a variety of guests and meetups.

Whispering Roots, Inc.

The Whispering Roots facility will grow healthy nutritious food such as salad greens, tomatoes, peppers and strawberries for distribution to the local community. In addition, classes will be offered in the areas of Controlled Environment Agriculture, Aquaculture/Aquaponics, Nutrition and Healthy Food Cooking/Preparation. Programming will also engage local students in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (S.T.E.M.) disciplines.
